Lincoln County Forest Lands Department

Lincoln County will notify owners of lands that have gone tax delinquent for more than 2 years. Taxes not paid after this notification will be repossessed by the county clerk. The Forestry Lands and Parks Department then has the responsibility of advertising these repossessed lands for bids to the general public. This is done to get them back on the tax roll.

With the increasing value of land, the number of tax delinquent properties has greatly decreased. There will not be a land sale for 2000.
