Picnicking and Camping in Lincoln County Forests

Picnicking and primitive camping in undesignated recreation areas is permitted within the County Forest. However, unless a littering problem is encountered, camping will be allowed for a maximum of two weeks. Campers must remove all garbage or debris created or be subject to littering fines.

The Forestry Department provides designated camping areas at Otter Lake, Camp Newwood and the Underdown Horse Camping Area.
